Bonk's Revenge

<>

The incredible sequel to Bonk's Adventure. Improved in arguably every possible way. Faster climbing and wall jumping, more intricate level design, better variety of bonus levels, tons of secret areas and items, and even mini boss fights. The score system is much more involved and there are tons of collectable items. Climb a waterfall. Swim on the moon. Fly with a flower. Invade a naval ship. Destroy a ginormous Boulder. Turn into a crab. Kill a volcano dinosaur. Spin up trees. Yes, almost anything is possible in Bonk 2. As a kid who grew up with Super Mario World, Bonk 2 gives me the same warm and fuzzy feeling. From the goofy enemies to the tucked away secrets and pure unadulterated fun of "butthead Bonk", I never grow tired of this game. I don't even care how easy the game is, because it is a cut above the rest. Along with New Adventure Island and Rondo of Blood, Bonk 2 is the best platfomer on the turbografx, a console not known for its platformers. An unsung hero of the 16-bit generation. A+ ~lukester
